LibertyHUD for Windows
One installer: the control panel, the match HUD, the stream screens, the cinematics and Jeff. It is the same build whether you are on the trial or subscribed, so you can install it first and sign in after.

Windows will warn you. That's expected.
LibertyHUD isn't code-signed yet, so Windows doesn't recognise the publisher and shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time you run the installer. Click More info → Run anyway. Edge may also ask you to keep the download.
We're getting the certificate now. It takes a few weeks to clear, and the warning goes away once it does.
It installs one other thing: HLAE.
HLAE (advancedfx) is the open-source tool the cinematic camera, the in-game x-ray glow and the observer hooks are built on, and LibertyHUD does not run without it. The app fetches it for you: a 9 MB download of the official advancedfx release, checked against a pinned checksum, into LibertyHUD’s own folder under your user profile. Nothing is installed into Windows itself.
Some antivirus tools quarantine it, because it injects a DLL into CS2 and that is the shape of thing heuristics flag. If yours does, add an exclusion for the folder the app names and install it again. The exclusion has to go first, or the file is simply removed a second time.

Three steps to on air
The order matters in one place only: the app needs an account before it will serve anything, so start the trial first if you have not.
- 01
Start your trial
Make an account and start the 7-day trial. Checkout asks for a card so the subscription can convert on its own; nothing is charged before day 8, and cancelling before then costs nothing.
Start free trial - 02
Install it
Run the installer. It installs to your user folder with no administrator prompt, then fetches HLAE by itself in the background. Windows will warn you about the publisher on the way; see the note above.
- 03
Sign in and pick a match
Open the app, sign in with the same account, pick your league match or start a custom game, and drag the one browser source into OBS. That is the whole setup.

Requirements
What it needs from your setup
- Operating system
- 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
- Game
- Counter-Strike 2, on the same PC. The app launches it with the observer setup already configured.
- Encoder
- OBS, or anything else that takes a browser source.
- Network
- An internet connection. Your packs and broadcast assets are downloaded from your account rather than shipped inside the installer.
- Account
- A LibertyHUD account with an active trial or subscription. The app is free to install and does nothing without one.
- Graphics card
- Nothing in particular. Jeff, the AI observer, runs on your CPU next to the game.
More detail on any of that is in the FAQ, and if something still is not clear before you install, ask us.
